New Opportunity for Internationally Educated Physiotherapists
We are preparing to launch PhysioReady Canada: a 9-Week Intensive Course designed specifically for Internationally Educated Physiotherapists (IEPTs) who are preparing to transition into practice in Canada.
This program provides focused, practical support helping IEPTs strengthen clinical readiness, navigate Canadian practice expectations, and build confidence for licensing success.
Program Overview
9-Weeks Total – 4 Modules (2 weeks each)

- Virtual Delivery:
- – Synchronous sessions (2 hours each): Tuesdays & Thursdays
- – Asynchronous learning: quizzes, case discussions, assignments, peer review
- 1 Week On-site or Virtual Practical Clinical Skills Review:
- – Ongoing exam preparation, including multiple-choice practice and test strategies
Virtual Introductory Session
- – Overview of Program structure
- – Review of foundational principles
Module 1 (Weeks 1–2): Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
- – Review of MSK assessment (joint, soft tissue, functional movement)
- – Clinical reasoning for common orthopedic conditions
- – Evidence-based treatment planning and progression
- – Practice applying MSK knowledge to outpatient, acute, rehabilitation and community settings
- CPTE focus: clinical decision-making and scenario-based MCQs
Module 2 (Weeks 3–4): Neurological Physiotherapy
- – Neurological assessment and interpretation (motor, sensory, cognition)
- – Management of stroke, spinal cord injury, and neurological conditions
- – Functional rehabilitation and mobility training
- – Interprofessional collaboration in neuro rehab
- CPTE focus: functional problem-solving and case-based reasoning
Module 3 (Weeks 5–6): Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy
- – Cardiopulmonary assessment (vital signs, auscultation, exercise tolerance)
- – Acute and chronic respiratory and cardiac conditions
- – Airway clearance techniques and exercise prescription
- – Safe management in acute care environments
- CPTE focus: safety, clinical prioritization, and acute care scenarios
Module 4 (Weeks 7–8): Complex & Integrated Care
- – Management of patients with multi-system conditions
- – Clinical reasoning across MSK, neuro, and cardiorespiratory systems
- – Care across the continuum (acute → rehab → community)
- – Enhancing communication and therapeutic relationships
- – Understanding professional regulation and accountability in Canada
- CPTE focus: complex case integration and ethical decision-making
Week 9: 1 Week On-site or Virtual Practical Clinical Skills Review
- – Hands-on practice of core physiotherapy skills
- – Simulation of clinical scenarios across all domains
- – Feedback on technique, communication, and clinical reasoning
- Final preparation for CPTE clinical application
By the end of the program, participants will:
- – Demonstrate entry-to-practice competence aligned with Canadian standards
- – Apply clinical reasoning across all systems
- – Communicate effectively within interprofessional teams
- – Approach the CPTE with confidence through structured exam preparation and practice

This supervised internship offers two 4-week rotations across both public and private sector settings, providing full-scope clinical exposure, hands-on learning, and personalized mentorship from experienced practitioners. Available only to graduates of the PhysioReady Canada Program who meet required academic standards, this premium opportunity ensures you translate knowledge into confident, practice-ready
skills— preparing you to enter the workforce with confidence.
